Hi Everyone,
I have observed today that many of our youth wanted success to be abrupt. I have friends who asked me why is it in the longest time their prayers and request were not heard until now.It seems for them that their prayers should have an immediate response. No wonder if they think like this, specially now that we are in Technological Advances everything today is instant.
God, who is timeless requires of us a mature faith that may involve delays that seem like trials. Patience is one of the sign of maturity, a quality that can develop only through the passing of time.
Many prayers in the Bible come out of the act of waiting. Jacob waited 7 years for a wife and then worked 7 more after being tricked by her father. The Israelite waited 4 centuries for deliverance and Moses waited 4 decades for the call to lead him.
I pray for the patience to endure times of trials, I pray for those who is now taking up this course to keep anticipating, keep hoping and keep believing. I pray patience to be patient.
Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength , they shall mount up with wings like an eagles , they shall run but not be weary, They shall walk and not faint,
Isaiah 40:30
Truly Yours,
